Looking only at Jesus, the originator and perfecter of the faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2
Looking around at the world today, we see many things that can cause us to be filled with anxiety, fear, confusion and maybe even doubts about our faith. Our enemy is busy at work, knowing his time is short. We look around and see many unbelievers and many who believe in strange or false doctrines. Sometimes, these things can be overwhelming, almost making us panic. Hebrews 12:2 reminds us to look to Jesus, the originator and perfecter of our faith. It is a reminder to keep your mind upon Jesus, the reason for our faith. Then, the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your heart and your mind.

Christmas Advent - During the holiday season, many are open to an invitation to come and enjoy a service celebrating the Lord's birth. Put on your spiritual eyes as we scope out the harvest field filled with opportunity.
Help Wanted - We are always in need of volunteers to come alongside and be a part of the ministry. See Richard K, Mike Y or John B after the service with questions.
Women's Prayer - A reminder that the women will meet this upcoming Saturday (December 13) at 07:30am for a time of worship, prayer, and fellowship.
Calvary Chapel has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and to be conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only to their overemphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the body of Christ.
We believe that the only true basis of Christian fellowship is God's agape love, which is greater than any differences we possess, and without which we have no right to claim ourselves to be Christians.
We believe worship of God should be spiritual. Therefore, we remain flexible and yielded to the Holy Spirit to direct our worship.
We believe worship of God is always fruitful. Therefore, we look for His love in our lives as the supreme manifestation that we have truly been worshiping Him.
We believe worship of God should be inspirational. Therefore, we give great place to music in our worship.
We believe worship of God should be intelligent. Therefore, our services are designed with great emphasis upon teaching the Word of God -the Bible- that He might instruct us as to how He should be worshiped.
