"And it shall come about when the soles of the feet of the priests who carry the ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off, and the waters which are flowing down from above, shall stand up in one heap."
As the priests stepped out in faith, not knowing what to expect from the raging waters, we too often step out into uncharted waters. Whether unforeseen physical ailments, a financial reversal, of a loved one going through changes we have no control of, we too have only the Lord to trust in. Our world turned topsy turvy, filled with uncertainty, we can only place our hope, trust and faith in the Lord. One step at a time, through the challenges, He is faithful to prevail.

Prayer- All the more, we should be praying for one another throughout the week, the month, continually. Spiritual warfare and attack come fast and furious in these last days. Ask the Lord to give you the names of those you should be praying for, as well as para-church organizations, our leaders and the peace of Jerusalem.
River of Life Mission - Continue to pray for the Mission as the staff and leadership for so many years have been devoted to the houseless community, those underserved, those who may be considered latch-key kids and the many more who have come for a hot meal, a word of encouragement and some clean clothes, a word of hope.
Lahaina Recovery - Continue to keep in prayer the people of Lahaina and for the entirety of Maui. Long term effects and status of rebuilding, housing for the displaced, job recovery and financial ramifications all come into recovery efforts.
California Wildfire - Continue to pray for the many families affected by the fires.
East Coast - Continue to pray for the ongoing hurricane relief work on the east coast.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem - As the Middle East heats up, pray for the nation of Israel along with all of those in this region who have come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
Calvary Chapel has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and to be conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are not a denominational Church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only to their overemphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the Body of Christ.
We believe that the only true basis of Christian fellowship is God's agape love which is greater than any differences we posses, and without which we have no right to claim ourselves to be Christians.
We believe worship of God should be spiritual. Therefore we remain flexible and yielded to the Holy Spirit to direct our worship.
We believe worship of God is always fruitful. Therefore we look for His love in our lives as the supreme manifestation that we have truly been worshiping Him.
We believe worship of God should be inspirational. Therefore we give great place to music in our worship.
We believe worship of God should be intelligent. Therefore our services are designed with great emphasis upon teaching the Word of God -the Bible- that He might instruct us as to how He would be worshiped.
